All joking aside, Steve's a top bloke to deal with. We had a decent chat about mutual friends, GAS, the music business generally, and most importantly of all, of Steve Coogan's great bit of air fretless bass playing in the trailer episode of I'm Alan Partridge (we agreed the air bass in question was most likely a Wal). All this while my daughters did their absolute best to interrupt, ask daft questions and break the (rather delicate) Wal case.
