So this is how it feels when you finally get the best rig you can that suits your needs/sound?

A slight come down after the high; a realisation that trawling thru the 'for sale' sections means nothing anymore; hours given back to you that you can spend doing something else instead of constantly being on Basschat attempting to get to the bargains first - yet somehow feeling that it's a waste of time.

Anyone else get 'the shakes'?

I've found it fairly easy to stop looking for amplification, but the habit of looking for basses is very difficult to shake.

There's very little that excites me GAS-wise anymore... but then with my gearlist that's hardly surprising!

Since hearing my Dingwall through my Max 12.0 and the EBS 4x10 I should be buying from Shep, I think I have now felt GAS deflation...









...until I looked at some more Dingwalls!

Yup, I've been entirely amp-and-cab-GAS free for a long while now: everything I look at on that front is of purely academic interest.

Basses, now, that'll be harder to sort out. I know exactly what I want now (and it's been a very, very long trip to get there - it's gonna be an uber-Franken-P) but I don't have the finances to get there just yet. Then there's the stuff which you just fancy - like the Fortress I bought last month...
