danhkr
Rarely see basses made in 1980 but these two are probably fairly typical of the time...
Noisyjon
I was born in 1976. Not a great time/period for Fender but I went onto G Base and typed in 1976 bass... In amongst the lists was this below. Sold!
tauzero
Just googled 1987 bass guitar and I got a Kubicki ex-factor and a Thumb NT. What a great year to have been born!
Coincidentally, I own an 87 Thumb NT. However, being born in 1957, I had to wait for 30 years to get a really good bass. 1957 - the year that Fender redesigned the foul-looking Tele-based Precision to the most-copied-of-all-time P bass shape that everyone knows The year that Rickenbacker introduced the 4000 which I find unplayable Gibson had been producing the EB-1 for three years by this time and for some reason actually continued to do so for many more years.
