I've been playing Bass since '88, mainly as an aide to my song writing and means to a groove through a very electronic 90's! I now record mostly and am always fiddling about with the best way to do that. I love a good groove, but don't we all? I have owned many nice Basses in my time from the JayDee Supernatural, Warwick FNA Jazzman, Tokai Jazz Bass the list goes on a bit My Favourite all time bass is my Tokai VRB80.. Jazz neck with a slab P body.. and it's orange!! I'm also learning to sight read bass....yowzer! Bass Heroes include- The Ox, John Wetton,Mike Rutherford, Tony Levin and Willie Weeks.. And so... Hehehe Mr.Weeks is such a nice chap and actually seeing someone play is the best way to access their style I think. Hence his slightly out of place nature on my very Prog-Rock List! Maybe I should add Bootsy too.... Quote
