The different instruments just don't seem to gel very well, with the guitars and kit overpowering the rest of the band. Also, your drummer needs to use more dynamics, especially on the ride and hats. 'Is that you' has a nice opening guitar line and vocal line and you should exploit it more. I'd also try getting one of the male ban d members to join in the vocals on that song - it needs a deeper voice backing up the lead singer. Hope these are of some help. TimR Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) Helen has a really good voice. My favourite was "The End" but thought that the slow section was a bit kind of bolted on. I think a lot of bands tend to write a verse and a chorus and bolt them together and the two seem to be completely different songs and forced. I think "Cowboy" and "Lovers in a Park" suffer from that a little. "Is that You" is a really good song and works really well. Shoot the drummer next time he plays diidly pom when everyone else has finished. Next time I'm in Nth Wales I'll look you up.
