Beedster
Big sound in two relatively small boxes. I have imminent space issues and given that it's simpler for me to run through my Sansamp RBI into the PA (especially for gigs at which I'm playing both DB and EB), I think it makes sense to let these go TB was picked up in a trade with, you've guessed it, Clarky, a month or so back and has had just the one outing since then. It's sitting in my bass room, champing at the bit like a rabid Rottweiler, and I'm pretty sure that if it doesn't get out and gig soon, it's going to do some damage! Think it was valued around £350 in the trade but I'm sure I could let that slip a little. But not much mind. Comes with Orange handbag (as long as Mrs B will let me have it back) & original carton etc. The Bag End is an equally mongrel-like thing, and appears to have been involved in some kind of freak varnishing incident. Picked it up from Nickytwister a few months back (listing and pics at http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=112974&hl=). It's one of the few cabs that'll give the TB as good as it gets. Think I paid £125, so that seems a fair price? Will trawl Clarky's FS posts to see if I can find pics of the Orange. I may be some time Can post the TB but not the Bag End C Edited May 12, 2011 by Beedster
Clarky
You are trying to catch up with me in the Feedback thread count again, Chris! Is this the "space issue" that I know about? ;-) Sorry I don't have pics of the Orange but can confirm that it was in immaculate condition when I got it (I got it in a trade from original owner Lozz196) and was essentially unused by me. Mrs B (aka The Otter) has already started the process of accumulation of various 'things' that are apparently needed Feedback thread? I walk in your shadow! Blimey Clarky, you do like to shift your gear about (he says having bought & sold full Ampeg rig since then).

Nickytwister
Chris! Cheers for the message today fella. The Sabre went long ago I'm afraid! Shame you're selling the Bag End; I've got my DB112s now but, strangely, miss the sound of the ol' dog. If it wasn't for the boiler, washing machine and motor all being in sickbay I would've probably bought it back. Still might in fact. I'll keep my eye on the thread! I'm almost glad the Sabre's gone, I don't think that it's really what I needed, after decising on a 4HH, it just suddenly became what I wanted! Hope all's well mate. Not a rock cab on it's own to my mind; very sweet tone, great for blues, funk, jazz etc. They have a great reputation (check out Talkbass). Here's what it'd cost you to buy the new equivalent: http://www.bassgear.co.uk/products-page/ba...e-15-enclosure/ I have no clue what this one's like but Bag End aren't exactly known for skimping on quality. barteroo2002
Cheers for the prompt responses everyone - kinda after something with rock 'authority' if you know what I mean. Balls and a foundation for everything else to go off mental around me. As always, money is the killer. Anyways, if I was still doing my jazz gigs I'm sure this'd be lovely. Good luck with the sale.
