Full line-up is: Dick Venom & The Terrortones Nils Olav Timothy J Simpson + one other act (TBC) We'll be headlining meaning we'll be on just after 10.00pm Free badges and other goodies for any BassChatter who's there and introduces themselves to the band! We're just starting to think about getting some gigs in London (the band's been going less than a year) - Anywhere you'd recommend we approach? Alternatively do Rattlin' Bone fancy a gig swap? We can only offer somewhere in Nottingham and since there's a lot of you it might not really be very cost effective for you - but the offer's there. Sorry I couldn't make it to your gig on Friday - got given a shed-load of work to do over the weekend (one of the perils of being self-employed you can't really say no). Let me know when your next one is.[/quote] We are bit geographically disparate (London, Bognor/Brighton, Falkirk!) so I'm afraid I don't Nottingham would work for us. Would be good to share a bill in London though. There's obviously a ton of venues (12 Bar would suit you; small venue but great vibe and alternative-y evenings on Fridays/Saturdays; plus all the Camden usuals, eg Purple Turtle, Underworld, Barfly etc). I would however recommend you contact specialist promoters like Stranger Than Paradise [url="http://www.strangerthanparadise.net/contact.html"]http://www.strangerthanparadise.net/contact.html[/url] (who arranged our Halloween gig and are promoting our gig in Brixton next month; don't know if there's a spare slot for that gig???) or Bonny & Clyde's Renegade Rendezvous [url="http://www.myspace.com/bonnieandclydenites"]http://www.myspace.com/bonnieandclydenites[/url] (who do Fridays at the 12 Bar). Rattlin Bone + Dick Venom & the Terrortones + the Jetsonics would be a top night out I reckon. If you're all up for it and if I have a date to work to I'll try and arrange something. In my experience most promoters are just venue bookers and I can do that. I have a few venues and contacts in mind that would be good. Quote

I have a few venues and contacts in mind that would be good.[/quote] Sounds great Ad, would be a fab line-up - my only word of caution is that, although I'm happy to play for beer money, Rattlin Bone's band leader is very keen on guaranteed paying gigs as we have a lot of travel expenses to cover (given that band are from all over the UK) The 12 Bar was a bit of an anomaly as we only took £60-odd home between the 12 of us (fortunately the Scottish guitarist didn't come)! We did it more for exposure and as a warm-up ahead of the much bigger gig next month (500+ people) in Brixton But yeah sounds like a brilliant idea, let us know when you have a venue/date in mind. It would need to be a bit in advanced as our drummer plays in two other bands and so his short-notice availability isn't too good. And yes that would be a top night out! Isn't BassChat great! Quote
