Truckstop Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I might bag it anyway. It does look pretty good to me! Truckstop Quote
yorick Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Never seen a mexican like that, but remember some american models from the early-mid nineties that were very similar. If you can get that for £300, bit of a bargain, methinkst....... Quote
Truckstop Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Ha ha, and also I never saw a Fender body that shape, or a 6-bolt neck. But yeah, I think it looks quite nice as it is. I'll sand the decal off the head though and find something else to put on. I'll put a bid in at the last minute! Truckstop Quote
Old Horse Murphy Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) Is it not one of those Mex or Korean Fender 24 fret Jazzes? It looks kosher to me. Edited March 10, 2011 by Old Horse Murphy Quote
Truckstop Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 If it is, then perhaps (should I win it) I'll not sand the decal off. Truckstop Quote

Blademan_98 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I think it real pretty At £300 even if it was fake, it's looks really cool! Quote
daz Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) IMHO the 6 bolt neck plate and the headstock decals look wrong. Also never seen a Mex painted like that. But im certainly no Fendexpert Edited March 10, 2011 by daz Quote

warwickhunt Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 The ebay bass is IMHO a kosher Korean made Fender the plate, top, logo etc are all as should be BUT don't confuse it with the the visually similar USA version! Quote

Its one of the Korean made Fender Jazz 24s (named due to the 24 fret fingerboard). Perfectly legit, and actually very nice basses for the money.
