RhysP
Rather lovely old greenburst Wal (John G Perry model?) with leather scratchplate: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wal-Bass-Guitar-/180...=item2a0eee59f1
absolutpepper
That is incredible. Never have I wanted to spend that amount on an instrument as much as now. Pity I don't have the means.

chris_b
These basses are magic and don't often come up for sale. When [s]Ross[/s] Martin Kemp signed up for Eastenders (12 years ago?) he sold his JG Wal through the Bass Cellar. I was in there one day when it was being played and it had one of the best bass tones I've heard. They wanted £1000 which I thought was too much!! If only I knew! silverfoxnik
Very lovely example, but more like 1977 or early 1978 than 1975.. My most stupid ever bass mistake was having one of those and then selling it in 1998
