270degrees
I have a Peavey Fury V and everyone who's played it has had something positive to say about the neck. Great build quality and it stays in tune forever.

Mlucas
I've seen one on offer on GuitarAmpKeyboard - wasn't sure as it looks a bit too metal-ed up and normally basses like that are a bit risky in terms of tone and playing but these reviews are persuading me to get one! EskimoBassist
I've heard that they play great, especially for the price, but the looks really put me off. Tempted by a 5 string, but think I'll go for somehting a little more conventional instead.

ead
I was the owner of a Cirrus BXP 5, very nice bass, but sadly moved on due to circumstances heading my way. I tried a few and IMHO the Peavey had the nicest B string in the price bracket. (I tried Ibanez, Yamaha +1 one other I don't recall). A bargain for £220 I thought. Thinking of chucking some passive seymour duncans in to see how that goes
