karlfer
Funny what "the market" will pay. Musky
I don't think it's an outrageous price really. Domestic Japanese basses aren't so easy to get hold of nowadays, and that one is in near mint condition. If someone specifically wanted that colour and didn't want the hassle of importing I can imagine that it would be worth that much to them. Especially if they happened to be within easy reach of Hove. BigRedX
If you bought a second-hand 62RI from Ishabashi's Ubox it would cost you approximately £675 after shipping, duty and VAT etc. Edit: That's to a Sunburst finish. karlfer
Makes me have dis- loyal selling thoughts about my '75 re-issue. Half heartedly put it up for exchange for a Duck Dunn. It's my 1st bass to look at, but 3rd to pick up and play. Karl.
spinynorman
Does anyone else think a private listing for a bass might be hiding something in the bidding dept? Not like it's anything to be ashamed of.
Cat Burrito
Whilst I acknowledge the above comments I do think there are better bargains out there! Nice colour though

I'm quite happy to accept his assurance. Nigel - since you're a member now, come in and join the fun.
