er20ic
Hello experienced bass players. I am using an Aria Sinsonido as my first bass due to a back injury. It's sounding good in the studio through an Ashdown ABM 300 head and Markbass 2x10. My question is - am I missing anything soundwise by not having a 'proper' guitar. I believe the Aria has twin condenser mics in the bridge by Wright (USA) and I've read that these have a wider frequency range than magnetic pickups. Can this be true? The amp has a lot of sound options and I don't know yet if I can access them all with this guitar.
warwickhunt
Can't help you with info on pups and the frequency range etc but I am developing a bit of a shoulder problem (the weight seems appealing) so would love to hear one of these, does anyone have any recordings using them? It weighs about 4 lbs, has a 34" scale and fits into a plastic rifle case. Email me on [email protected] if you are in this area.
