These were really hyped in the late 90s & got great reviews at the time. This one does keep cropping up

I saw one of them in Johnny Roadhouse years ago, looked very well made.

It's certainly the same one (from the same seller) that was posted here last time.

Too expensive at the moment for what is a very nicely made and playable but ultimately novelty instrument. - Says the man with all sorts of weird(er) instruments!

Is it wrong of me to want this (or the Baz Extravaganza Punk Bass) simply to piss off bands who would like me use something more "Fender-ish"?
