I got this one recently. A Fender Custom Shop 62' Relic Jazz Bass in Sea Foam. The stacked knob controls have been switched with a real 60's vol, vol, tone. Works better for me. Its light weight and really resonant. Sounds absolutely amazing. A bit darker in the tone than most jazzes.

And here it is: (The colour is really really hard to photograph  )

My Silver Series Jazz Bass. It not only looks purty but sounds phenomenal and feels great to play. I've owned and played many a Jazz and this the best of the best.

Nice bass, Warren.

Those John Suhr-designed pickups with 1/4 inch magnet slugs on the original series of the American Deluxe Jazz Basses were really good , and better than the Noiseless design Fender replaced them with, in my opinion.

Here's a picture of my three jazzes. My Geddy Lee, '75 Reissue (refinished by BassDoc) and '62 reissue. I like jazzes :)

That 75 is lovely. In fact perfect.

Thanks! Obviously I agree lol. The only thing that's nagging me is the white scratchplate... I think parchment or mint green would be more subtle/suitable/vintage (as the binding on the fingerboard has gone creamy over 28 years!) but that's the original 'plate so I'm not sure I want to change it :s

And this one arrived at my doorstep yesterday.

F(ake)ender Jazz Bass V lefty, Fender or Squier don't make them so a Chinese fake will have to do (for now).

Just finished putting together my frankenfaker Jazz. A serious collaboration of various bits and bobs that iv'e accumulated over the last couple of years. Re-lacquered the neck myself and now it feels nicer than most fenders i've owned/played in the past.
