Oxnard Montalvo Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 I'm in love with Jazz basses and it has been great seeing all of yours. So here are mine! The white one is a 2016 Am Std and the natural finish fiver is an Am Elite which I got last week. If anything, it is easier to play than the 4 string standard (and I say that as someone with stubby fingers). Quote
RickyV Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Newly acquired bitsa Jazz. Fender string-through body and Fender pick ups. Lovely MIghty Mite neck - and yes, it has a Fender decal! Quote
Owen Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 There is not much finer in the world than a CAR headstock on a Jazz. Quote
BassAgent Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I used to have five but I have owned four for the last few years and I only miss some 70's kinda Jazz. Still. Not too much to complain about. Quote
Graham Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I've got real GAS for a five string jazz at the moment........we'll have to see what happens when I get my deposit back on our current rental place in the next month or so Are the post 2012 American standard jazzes held in high regard? At the moment I'm contemplating a Skyline Darryl Jones 5, a Fender Professional Jazz 5 or maybe a used American Standard. Quote
MM Stingray 62 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 (edited) This is my new jazz bass it's a bravewood 66 it plays and sounds fantastic. Edited December 8, 2019 by marleaux62 Quote

MM Stingray 62 Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Oh yes it counts alright it's got jazz pickups and I bet it plays as good as it looks. Just like most modulus basses do. Quote

Graham Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 It is lovely, the band are really happy with it too, which is always a bonus. Quote
