This is Roxxanne, my Marcus Miller Jazz IV.

Bought her as my 16th Birthday present - was a second hand bargain from a collector. He had about 4 guitars and this bass, but he didn't play, they just hung on the wall looking pretty. Decided to move and I picked it up for a bargain price! Had her nearly 4 years now. Great sounding bass, plays really well. Main gigging bass ever since!

It's a B serial number - I couldn't find anything about these, so if anyone has any idea of the year, I would love to know.

Cheers,
Lorry

Hello, can I play??

Here's my two............

[attachment=102931:Photo0079.jpg]

The Marcus Miller you'll all recognise, has been modified however, upgraded the pickups to DiMarzio Ultra jass set and it's been converted to a passive bass with the addition of a Rawsound Varitone circuit bought off ebay. This bass is the keeper no matter what, plays extremely well and sounds great.

The Second bass is a bitas i put together recently consisting of a Squier Vintage Mod body, 2002 MiM neck and tuners, Bartolini jazz set pickups partnered with another Rawsound Varitone circuit and an old stock bridge from an old pbass thing i had a while ago. really happy with this one as i've attemped a few bitsa projects in the past and this is the first one thats worked really well.

All in all really very happy with my two. I've had numerous basses of different kinds, brands and manufatures of the years, finally landed on the jazz bass and could'nt be happier

Cheers

Cricky that is a stunning bit of kit! :gas: However, like "martthebass" say's, it's got one string too many! :lol: still very B) bass though. If I played a 5 or was after one, i'd be looking at one of those for sure.
