It´s a refin, which finish was sunburst before. The pickguard is also new and the fingerrest is also missing. This Jazz provide one of the dryest sounds I´ve ever heard on a Jazz.

Im not entirely sure what the colour is called but the picture doesn't do it justice. There is a lovely metallic/glitter shine to it which the new lake placid blue basses (well, those that I've seen) don't seem to have. Whatever it is I love it :-)

And how come that you swapped the stock bridge from the white-torted Jazz?

If my eyes don't deceive me, that's a Badass II (or some other high mass) bridge. Some swear by them for sustain.

First time ive ever tried a 5 string! Brilliant bass for the money!
Ive changed it to a Badass bridge, (well spotted q_of_doom) im in the slow process of changing to gold hardware on the white! plus its alot better than the stock bridge!

not sure what wood it is but i have an early goodfellow Classic (number 41) in what looks like the same wood.

Out of the 6 the burnt orange Metallic, is stunning, it has great big metallic flakes
that play tricks with stage lighting,You cant see them very well in the photo,
the 62 rissue photoflame is also a dream playability and sound
the aerodyne is for sale ( not that its any worse than the others, its not)

Cheers Krish, its a cust colour, never seen another one, you cant see in the pic but the metallic flakes are quite big
must of been a bugger to get flat.
the neck has the thick lacquer on which i pref, and its so easy to play.

The flame yes it is, compleat with hamburglar ! you dont see many of them now, getting collectable i believe
Sustain is great even round C#, D note on the Gstring where alot of basses die, and with the stock bridge!
