Best Bass Magazine

im looking to subscribe to a bass magazine so that i can literate myself and be up to whats going on in the bass world.
what bass magazine do you guys recon is the best and with better content?

basschat is better than any bass mag in my view. it's free (sort of) and you get to save shelf space for womans weekly.

I occasionally buy Bass magazine, but i prefer guitar and bass. They normally have some good stuff, whereas Bass magazine focuses more on the players side of basses.

Stick to Basschat (& peek at Talkbass occasionally.... but you'll have to do a lot of sifting through! lol!)

There's [url="http://bassmusicianmagazine.com"]Bass Musician Magazine[/url] and [url="http://www.bassgearmag.com/web/"]Bass Gear Magazine[/url], both online and both free.

I can't really recommend them as I rarely look at either - Basschat pretty much covers everything I'd like to know about bass.

I too think Basschat is King but I do subscribe to the Bass Guitar Magazine. It's the best of a bad lot. I used to love Bassist in the 90s - if I had a pound for everytime I've posted that I'd have at least £8 by now!

As for the OP - well, frankly, I'd save my money. Basschat is the Nulli Secundus of bass-related media doo-dah.
