GT40Graham
OK, it's a tuner rather than an effect. Very sturdily built and you sure know when you're in tune as the central LED becomes a lot brighter, a bit like a death ray, HIGHLY visible. This thing is ideal for dark stages in fact, it could probably replace your lighting rig
Machines
Wow ! That's pretty cool, not sure of the point of the VU meter on a tuner though, I suppose it's more visual than practical. I wouldn't bet on the battery lasting that long if the lights are really bright. Be fine in a powered pedalboard though.

The VU meter is an Ashdown trademark but it is very useful as it has quite a fine movement. You can use the meter or the lights but you certainly can't miss the lights. ahpook
what is it with pedal manufacturers and super-bright LEDs ? i always end up putting white insulating tape over them...i fear for my eyesight.
lemmywinks
Like i said last time this was on here, it's about 4 times the size a tuner pedal needs to be and will take up valuable pedalboard space. Ashdown and their bloody gimmicks, grrrr!
0175westwood29
it is a bit big! the boss is smaller, can power 7 pedals using a daisy chain lead, and has a direct out plus you can make the led's brighter if needed. and as was said above a voltage meter on a tuner why? andy
GT40Graham
It's not a voltmeter, it also indicates the tuning a la the old Korg Tuners. It works for me! Edited March 19, 2011 by GT40Graham

Cat Burrito
I own one too. I bought it to go with my Orange rig (poser that I am) but I rarely take out effects. If I do start using effects again it'll be right in there
