ben604 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) Ok, I thought this was pretty much sold and bought a Schroeder 410L to replace it, but unfortunately, the buyer had to pull out. So, it's a Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 4x12. It's a little scruffy, but nothing major: 1000Watts at 4-ohms. It does what it looks like it might do, shakes buildings with endless power. I really, really, love this cab, but we're gigging every weekend and the band have been whinging and whining that it's too big, so I've bought a Schroeder 410L to reduce my onstage and in-van footprint. It's tall and heavy, tall is good, there's nothing like bass at your earlevel when playing, I miss that with the Schroeder. Heavy isn't great, but it has wheels at the back and handles all over the place, including the bottom! £400 for an 8x10 killer is a good price, I think.
