bubinga5
Im sure many know this band..if not, this track is well worth a listen.. the first time i heard this was with a few musicians i know who are maybe different to me in there passions.. or what i thought!!!.. this was 17 years ago before i was playing and i was a percussionist for these guys... they played this to me and i was blown away... from what i thought i knew about this band, and what i really know now is very different... this track is so great, from what i think is one of the best 70's rock albums.. its a chameleon of a track... 70's rock to 70' funk into 70's jazz funk.. its festival of a tune.. i frickin love it... i was laughing when i heard it because i was so amazed how cool it was and where it took me.. it made things possible, in my preconseptions of what i thought 70's rock was..this track taught me alot check it... SteveK
Had the interesting experience of touring with the Allman Brothers in 1991... They aren't everyone's cup of tea, nor mine particularly, but I can't deny, when they're on it, they're really on it and there's a great vibe. Spent a few interesting, and not entirely sober, evenings with Greg Allman. He really is (or was) a larger than life figure. Should add that The Beach Boys were also on the tour.
