Surfing the internet the other day I found a couple of videos. My old faithful P/J sounds pretty good. What is it?[/quote] As far as I know it's made up of Mighty Mite parts from the late 70's or early 80's. I got it secondhand in 84 (it was my first proper bass) for £130. It has a very individual sound probably because both pickups (especially the jazz) are so far back near the bridge.
