ampeg portaflex

i have just stumbled on these [url="http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/Ampeg_PF-500_Portaflex_Bass_Head/AMPEG-PF-500"] ampeg[/url] new range,saving for a good small un,had my mind set on a orange tb......but i just love the ampeg sound + its cheaper :-) has anyone had a bash on 1 of these yet? any cop?

You lot aren't the only ones interested. I'm after the PF350 myself. 250watts @ 8 ohms would be great for me as I'd only need to used 1 of my Warwick cabs. Also, they seem VERY well priced.

My only worry is if they turn out to be as flimsy as my old Ashdown Little Giant 350. THAT would annoy me greatly!

I am uber interested in the 500head and 210 cab.

My only issue is that the cab has no handles except the flimsy number on the lid. Surely we wouldnt be expected to cart it around using that alone!!

I definately want to hear the 500 head. Think will wait until for one, I`m in a band again, but for two, for the first batch with any possible problems to be dealt with. That way, the second phase should have ironed these out. Plus, I can look at reviews and see if its a viable option.
