iconic
been reading thru the Fender timeline, and as this is the colour combo I want, what is the concensus amoung the 'Fenderisti'....looks good to my rookie eyes and it's just up the road from my bruv? stinson
Looks good to me, squeaky clean. Although, not sure I can see an 'F' on the neckplate? or is it just my poor eyesight?
iconic
that's what caught my eye, could well be the camera angle....and almost too clean for 24 years old...no, no, I must be getting paranoid! Asked for better close ups.
stinson
Yeah, to be honest it looks all good to me. Just ask for picks without the covers to check there isnt a dodgy bridge or pickups!
wateroftyne
Looks OK to me, assuming there's an F on the neckplate. The 'it looks to clean for something that old' worries that crop up around things like this never really bother me...
iconic
ohh, well that's me out, got to be viewed in person from the answer...that's only a 5 hour + drive for me.... only asked for 4 photo's, a serial number conformation and how long owned, got none of that... Statistically speaking, there must be at least one P owner who has catered for the fragile finish and actually looked after the thing. neilb
The neck plate is F stamped. I can see it.

Should the head end of the neck have a walnut plug visible? Edited March 24, 2011 by iconic
voxpop
It might be the real deal but the seller won't take paypal. If anything goes wrong you will have no protection. We all moan about eBay, and that includes me, but paypal can be a good thing when buying goods that might be fake.

Lozz196
It also states "where the neck joins the body has been professionally repaired". £1200 is a lot for a bass that has been damaged isn`t it? iconic
I didn't see that when 1st listed, there was a revision 23/3/2011...
