that's what caught my eye, could well be the camera angle....and almost too clean for 24 years old...no, no, I must be getting paranoid!

Asked for better close ups.

ohh, well that's me out, got to be viewed in person from the answer...that's only a 5 hour + drive for me.... only asked for 4 photo's, a serial number conformation and how long owned, got none of that...:)

Indeed. Statistically speaking, there must be at least one P owner who has catered for the fragile finish and actually looked after the thing.

I still love the colour combo on this bass....and not expensive...although still see the same high end basses for sale week after week, not a lot a spare ash rolling around for toys?

....F stamp....you can see it?.... it must be my old eyes, which pic can you see that in?

....I also can't see a body end truss rod adjustment, which is why I requested a close up of the body, could be there, but I'll never know, and for £1200 slices I ain't begging the vender for a 5 minute photo?

Should the head end of the neck have a walnut plug visible?

It might be the real deal but the seller won't take paypal. If anything goes wrong you will have no protection. We all moan about eBay, and that includes me, but paypal can be a good thing when buying goods that might be fake.

If they are selling it on eBay then they are obliged to accept paypal. eBay's playground - eBay's rules.

It also states "where the neck joins the body has been professionally repaired".

£1200 is a lot for a bass that has been damaged isn`t it?
