dave_bass5
Other than Thomanns i can find any on line other than the USA. I wanted to get it before the weekend but this doesn't look like its going to happen. Anyone know of any on-line stores that sell them? Cheers. Lozz196
Just had a quick look, and my trusty go-to site, Axesrus are out of stock. Other than that, couldn`t locate any in the UK, think you`ll be lucky to find one Dave. BTW, they also go under the name of Fender Original Precision Pickup - don`t know why, but Fender re-named them. I had one in my MIM P, and it was a definate improvement. chris_b
Have you thought about Lindy Fralin pickups? They seem to be recommended for getting a vintage Fender tone and sounding better than the original article. Im figuring £70 max for the pickup so even a second hand Fralin is out of the question.
Clarky
How about this, Dave, and pick it up from the seller (in Herts) if it can't be delivered in time http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Original-Pick...=item35b0c8b91e
dave_bass5
Cheers Clarky, thats perfect, in fact better than that as he has listed the dimensions as well. This is to replace my Thumper and i need a slightly smaller pup (which looks like the Fender is). While i wanted it by the weekend i can wait until next week if i have to. Its funny but i check eBay yesterday and didnt come up with anything in the UK.
dave_bass5
I decided to order from Thomanns after all, just to save a few £. Inc delivery came to £66.34. Pretty happy with that. Wont get it until next week of course but i suppose its best i don't start tinkering with my Bass on the day of the gig. Thanks for all the help, fingers crossed it fits.
