You have to compare the Ash Corvette to the $$ rather than the Bubinga one. They're the same in neck and body wood but the $$ has more complex electronics. It has 2 humbuckers with coil taps for each pickup. You will likely get a more aggressive sound from it. Both will still have the signature Warwick sound however :).

but the OP is talking about Wawrick basses, why would he want a Warwick sound? :)

just traded my $$, was a great bass, HUGE sounds but a wee bit over the top for my kind of stuff! I'd have another one in a second though, lovely feel to them one of 'wicks finest!!
