Bassassin Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 I might be wrong here, but I think the scratchplate is one part of the 4001 design that RIC don't have a trademark attached to - so you might be able to use the "R" word in your listing. I remember reading a topic about these on Rickresource, and John Hall actually commented to the effect that scratchplates weren't worth trademarking & that RIC sort of unofficially endorses the likes of Pickguardian & WD, who will supply plates for older instruments that RIC don't carry spares for.
