Dave Vader
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...IT#ht_500wt_935 I know, I listed it 3 days ago, nobody's even looking at it, either bid and get it cheap on the bay, or wait til it fails to sell, and I'll name a price here. Hope this isn't against the rules here, if it is I'm very sorry.
Bassassin
I might be wrong here, but I think the scratchplate is one part of the 4001 design that RIC don't have a trademark attached to - so you might be able to use the "R" word in your listing. I remember reading a topic about these on Rickresource, and John Hall actually commented to the effect that scratchplates weren't worth trademarking & that RIC sort of unofficially endorses the likes of Pickguardian & WD, who will supply plates for older instruments that RIC don't carry spares for. I sold one a few years ago, think I said it was for a "Rickenbacker or similarly styled" bass - had no problems with that. Jon.
Dave Vader
Now that might be worth a try. I just got so used to the rick thing I gave up trying to use the name. Might go change my listing and see what happens...
Mr. Foxen
Might try sticking my metal ones on ebay if that is the case. I'm watching this one on the off chance it will fit my faker that currently wears a plate consisting mostly of superglue.
