waltsdog Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) This is my backup bass but I think it's too nice to sit it it's case and not be played by someone, so I'm offering it up. Mexican '50s Precision, gold anodised scratch plate and I believe these have a US pickup in them so it sounds really good. The neck is very slightly wider than a regular precision but plays very well. The bass is in mint condition, not a mark on it anywhere and still has all of the tags etc from when it was new. Comes with a fender gig bag only so I'd rather not risk sending it. I've got some ridiculous DR Neons on it at the moment, that came off a stingray (hence the extention to the G) but I can put some regular strings on it if you prefer. jezzaboy Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Really good deal for someone, these are 600 quid new. And the couple I tried were really good. Should go fast! Jez
Cat Burrito Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I've had my (MIJ) one since 1989, they are just great. I played a couple of the MIM ones & they've kept the quality control up high. This is a real steal of a bargain for someone

[/quote] Haha It was a bit of an experiment/long shot but it turned out to be stable, stays in tune and doesn't seem to affect the sound. All PM's replied to
