itsmartin
I joined a couple of days ago, and spent a while trawling the posts. I have to say that I am very surprised and pleased to have found such a great forum. There is loads of good advice and info. Thanks I started life near London and moved down south about 25 years ago. I really wanted to continue my Bass playing career, as I had done 10 years as a Pro straight from school but house, wife, mortgage forced me to get a job that pleased the lenders. I am now nearly 50 and am trying to get back into the "swing" of it. I have a BG (G&L 2000e), one of the first ones in the uk (at the time I bought it) and no one had ever heard of G&L. Now I want to get back into DB so I have started looking at EDB as I don't want to annoy everyone with my constant practice. The Stagg is I could afford at the moment. I am just waiting for a lottery win.
