Pics for you - She'll be heavily wrapped and in a gig bag and boxed labelled with Handle with Care stickers to protect from damage (trust me on past scenarios) - Not sure the battery life on the electronics but I'll throw in a free 9V battery, Energizer :)

Yeah you can get active and passive HZ's, I think SSD's are passive too, and they are also on various Spector models.
