Mecklenburg
Hello, I'm getting married this August and we really want a band to play at our wedding! It's being held in Kenilworth in a big Victorian Hall, its all organised by us and we're just wanting a big party - we aint into all that hotel wedding bullshit ANYWAY I thought this would be a good place to put out some feelers for guys in bands or for those who could recommend a band to us! Ideally they'd be able to play everything from The Beatles to Saxon lol but somewhere inbetween would be be OK. We would also be interested in using your PA for the music whilst you are not playing. So please get back to me either on here or a PM Cheers!!
michaelwatmough
Disclaimer: my sister's function band. But they are good! http://www.sugartones.com/ Perhaps not Saxon, more motown, soul, ska, pop.
Phil Starr
I'm surprised you haven't been inundated, Your best bet is Lemonrock where you can check out dozens of local bands, listen to mp3's of most of them and check their song lists and diaries. If they'll travel Snappa (not my band)are a great party band who are totally professional but you'll probably get someone more local. Good luck Edited April 1, 2011 by Phil Starr

Ian Savage
The band I'm drumming for at the minute are based near Leamington Spa, have a look at the setlist if you like - http://www.blinkwatch.co.uk/index.html Don't know whether I'll still be with them come August (depends on work and whether I have to move) but they're a good bunch and pretty professional.
