cocco Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 That's gorgeous! And would fit in nicely with my new found love for EBMM, I'm gutted I don't have the funds. I love it
Schnozzalee Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 (edited) One for Warwickhunt's discernment! Its only a single H but a good year Edited March 29, 2011 by Schnozzalee
mike f Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I grew up in Congleton - Bear Town! Good luck with the sale, Thomas.
Apothem Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Having owned for a few years a '94 Sterling I can honestly say they are cracking basses. Welcome to the forum and Good Luck with the sale!!

Rayman Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 ....and you're just up the road from me......gahh.........tempting.
mike f Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Jeez, Congleton (I grew up there, off Park Lane and then West Heath), Macc ( I used to work there) and Crewe (my brother worked there, Rolls Royce, and I went to college there) all in the same thread! Sorry to hijack this thread but the nostalgia is getting to me! Best pubs used to be the White Lion and the Kings Head. Infact The White Lion was the pub in the early 90s for all the alternative/rock kids to hang out. Best jukebox for miles around! Great days. Proy900, nice guitar strap. That's a deal clincher right there! Mike
Rayman Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011
It is a beautiful bass. Why don't you come up and give it a bash? I play it through a VBA400 & VBC810 I lived in Macc nearly all my life untill i moved to congleton with the missus. Lived on the Weston. Feel like i've seen you around. Do you get in the swan with two necks?
I haven't been in there no, but I should, we're after somewhere else to play other than the Ship Inn on Beech Lane. I'll have a think about money, it might be out my reach having just moved into my own gaff, but it's gorgeous bass that.
charic Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Really well put together sale post. Good luck with the sale, have a free bump
BIG.J Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Bump! For a lovely Bass and a Cracking Basschatter.... If only i was minted...Lol! J.
Quatschmacher Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 So so tempted. I love my Sterling but would really love to have this in order to have the bridge with mutes. If I knew I could sell mine on straight away and not lose money I'd do it.
