Gone to a new home - thanks for all your enquiries :)

-------------------------------------------------------------

As per the previous, I am consolidating! Yay for me, but feel my sorrow - I'm letting some fun basses go.

This certainly falls into the fun category. 1984 Nagoya Japan BC Rich Eagle - originally a deep punk pink/purple it's now lightening with age. It's certainly very bright, and with the original hardware - the pick-ups are nice and hot, and the BCR-marked Gotohs are a nice touch.

It's a very light bass. Neck slightly chunkier than a Fender P, with much the same effect through the sound. Strung with EB Slinkys (fitted in Feb).

THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT. FOCUS, PEOPLE. Shockwave previously imported this bass from the States, care of a rather heavy handed courier and from a chap who know little about packing, with a resultant neck break in transit. Rob had this professional repaired, including the finish on the painted neck. It makes it very hard for me to take shots (being under paint, and so on) but I want people to be aware. I'm hoping he'll be along to share a little more information.

The bass is nicely mojo'ed to my eyes, with rub along the top of the body from arm contact. It sports a variety of dings and rashes, as befits it's age.

As a result of all the above, I'm not so keen on shipping - I'd prefer people to come and see and make their own minds up. It will work for some people, it won't for others.

Anyway, porn:

Asking £250 or close offers.

I'll echo the above, in that it appears to be a very strong neck - surprisingly so on so light a bass. I know we've both got bad backs, Rob, so I'm sure you found this bass as comfortable as I now do :)

Great sounding passive basses these and those pick ups are so, so good! I have the two pick up version of this model and it's just a fantastic bass..

Good luck with the sale! :)
