ezbass Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011
Ooh killer rig!
Yep classic combo of Markbass and Schroeder, I use one myself. Bumpage for a great sounding rig.
ben604 Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Officially for SALE! Who wants lightweight power and tone?!
ben604 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Thanks for the polite comments! Just to clarify, this rig *probably* won't kill you, but you should be careful all the same.
woodyratm Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I'd like to hear what this sounds like. I'm after a lighter head/cab.

Muzz Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Have a bump for a great rig - if I didn't already have a Schroeder (1515L) and my ideal amp, I'd be gassing for this bad boy.

Ou7shined Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 What's to know? Imagine your bass through a powerful and transparent amp going through an articulate, high quality cab with great projecton. Then imagine trouble free load ins because of the size and weight.

ben604 Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 Head provisionally sold. Cab still available! Go on, make me happy on my Birthday
Stag Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I too would love to hear one of these. A bit more portable thatn my SVT610HLF and certainly lighter... whats the bottom end "woof" like?

It's probably related to the two offset 10s. There's obviously got to be a trade off between being able to carry it on your own and being able to cut someone in half from 100 feet!
Ou7shined Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 My Schro 21012R had masses of "to the back of the room" projection (probably more so than my current rig). There's a slight lower/mid bite from the 10s which catapults your sound right out there.
ben604 Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 I heard the organ in Westminster Abbey runs through one of these.
Wil Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Great cabs! RE the post earlier about comparison with a 6x10, I've a/b'd mine with an Ampeg 8x10 before in a rehearsal room, and IMO the schroeder walked all over it in terms of bottom end and matched it with volume. I couldn't believe it!
