Hi,

Thought you guys might be interested in taking a look at Haydn Williams new site.

Haydn is a good friend of mine as well as the head builder at Overwater Basses. He also build electric and acoustic guitars and basses under his own name 'H J Williams' and although he's rather modest I do not know a man with more knowledge of instrument building, wood, and problem solving!... he also knows a hell of a lot about CNC and built one himself.

Some of you will know Haydn and his considerable skill and talent.

Take a look at his work at Williams Guitars Feel free to leave him a comment :)

Yep I know Haydn from Overwater and he's a top guy as are all the guys at Overwater.
Saw his guitars at Moffat Bass Bash and some really nice kit.
My guitarist mate is big 50 this year and will be recommending Haydn to him.
He's looking for something special for his birthday and this could be exactly what he is looking for.

Thanks for the reminder.

Cheers
Dave

As far as I am aware Haydn Does all of his own colour and spraying work, including the rather fetching tiger eye finished guitar on his site. ... that's not to say Dave has never finished a 'Williams' as I know they are friends and former colleagues.

Never seen a 6 string bass so small, and with a whammy bar too!

hmmm...

Here's a 6 Sting 'Bass' to even things up. Note the Holly Pickups covers done on Haydn's CNC (he built my bass at Overwater)

Opened this thread expecting it to be about Rob Williams Guitars (who has made a custom guitar for my mate that is the nicest guitar I have touched, and also the heaviest, as he requested... Weightiest piece of bubinga he could find!)

Will have a look round this Williams site...

I'm not a guitarist hence reason for being on Basschat but if i was i'd buy one of these.
That is seriously nice guitar mate.

Like it - a lot
I will pass onto my guitarist who is looking for that something special for his 50th birthday later this year.

Thanks
Dave
