Danny
Apparently he is Wyclef Jean's cousin and I found a video of them performing "acoustically" together with Niia (I've never heard of her either). It's not usually the sort of thing I would look out for but I really like it. You can compare it to the original (below) which I personally found unbearable and turned off half way through. From Wikipedia, Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis is a Grammy Award nominated Haitian-born musical composer and record producer. His first major success was as producer for The Fugees' 1996 album The Score. He also played the bass guitar with The Fugees, and band member Wyclef Jean is his cousin. Alongside Wyclef and Andrea Guerra, Wonder wrote and produced the theme song "Million Voices" for the movie Hotel Rwanda, which was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2005.[1] The same song was later nominated for a Grammy Award in 2006.[2] He has worked with many acts including Da Band, Bounty Killer, Canibus, John Forté, Shakira, John Legend, Jin, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Carlos Santana, Queen Latifah, Tom Jones, Mick Jagger, The Black Eyed Peas, Simply Red, Lionel Richie and City High. More recently, Duplessis has been concentrating on movie soundtracks including When We Were Kings, Bulworth, Dr. Dolittle 2, 50 First Dates, and Hotel Rwanda. After starting with a small home studio, Jerry also co-founded Platinum Sound recording studios in Manhattan with Wyclef. The studio caters to both film and music and is located in the heart of Times Square Theatre District. ^^Pretty impressive resume^^
