How about exporting bass to Holland from UK

Help required to find a company that I can safely use to post my bass to Holland not too expensivelly (value approx £1000.00). Any suggestions very welcome, cheers, Rob.

Just about any courier would do that for you.

Log on to their site and choose which courier and service you want.

I would choose DHL or Fedex

I've used Parcelforce six or seven times in the past, when I've bought a bass or a guitar from the UK. Every transaction went smoothly. Recommended.

Interparcel are good, as are Parcel2go - just don`t choose the Parcelforce option, as apparently for musical instruments their upper insurance limit is £200. Even though they will allow you to buy insurance for higher levels than this, should the item get lost/damaged, they won`t pay. This from other info I`ve read on here, btw, not from personal experience. My personal experience with Parcelforce was them taking 11 days to deliver a 48hour item.

Though from the previous post, who is happy with Parcelforce, seems experiences can differ.

For anything a grand and under you can't beat Interparcel (IMHO).

The big advantage with them is that if there's a delay or something is lost they can get straight through to the more senior customer service guys at the shippers and get things sorted so much quicker than a private individual can.

They'll also help with insurance claims if required.

I sent mypink Nordy VJ5 to Belgium via Interparcel - no problems whatsoever. Collected from Scotland on the Tuesday afternoon, delivered to Belgium on the Friday Morning!!
