neepheid Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I believe in praise where praise is due, so hats off to Stringbusters. I ordered a set of Super Slinky 5 at 4.30pm yesterday, standard delivery and they're here this morning. That's pretty damn good. They're too quick even for their own website, which is showing my order as "Awaiting Processing" Nice one, I'll be back. Quote

Rich Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Yup, they (and Strings Direct) get all my string business. Most of my experience with them is similar to neep's... if you get an order in by close of play on a Monday, it's pretty much guaranteed to turn up on Tuesday. Quote
3V17C Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 yep always a good service from them peace c Quote
Stag Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 My short scale strings and patch lead arrived super quick from Stringbusters as well, +1 from me Quote
stewblack Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 If it helps anyone else decide to use them then they get my vote too. Just what ordering online should be. Always there next day as ordered great price. Quote
Mike Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Always been brilliant for me! Finally, a company we can all praise! Quote
DirkThrust Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Yeah +1 for Stringbusters. Excellent service. I wouldn't use anyone else Quote
bassfunk Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 + 1 from too. Although once they did deliver to my home address instead of my work one. But I was at home anyway. Quote
tauzero Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 +1 for Stringbusters. There have been two occasions of getting the wrong item (once was them, once was me), both times sorting it out was absolutely hassle-free. Plus they're cheap. If I was richer, I'd change my strings more often simply for the pleasure of dealing with them Quote
beerdragon Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I ordered some Ernie ball yesterday they were here dinner time today/ not bad going. Quote
markytbass Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) +1 for strings direct from me, good prices and quick delivery. I think their roto jazz flats are the cheapest around £22.95. Edited February 8, 2008 by markytbass Quote
beerdragon Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 (edited) They may have excellant service but i was just changing the strings for the ones that came yesterday and i found what is i suppose is a knot in the middle of the g string. got on the phone but it seems they dont work on a saturday afternoon. it will monday now. luckily the old g string is still like new. Buzz Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 +1 for Busters and Direct. Never had a problem, even ordered my B-stock tele from them. Saved about £30 iirc on a Squire Affinity, new strings and a quick and rough fret level job and it's ok for a cheapy. Quote
Jase Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Can't fault them, always super quick. I ordered yesterday at 2pm, here today 24hrs later! Quote
