ficelles
Trying to recall where I bought my '83 Gibson Spirit II (yes I know it has too many strings and they are too thin), I am sure it was from a shop called Gig Riggers and I am fairly sure it was in Reigate... thing is that was a very rock'n'roll period pour moi so memories a little hazy and I can't find anything to say such a place ever existed (the shop, not Reigate), anyone remember it? ficelles
skankdelvar
anyone remember it?
Never bought anything there, but I certainly recall the name appearing in music publications of the period. Clearly, the - er - substances weren't that good.

Daniella
This was my Dad’s shop, he also owned Gig Riggers in Worthing. And more recently GR Sound Solutions. Sadly Dad passed away afew years ago
louisthebass
I remember hiring something out of the shop in the late 1980's - always wondered what happened to the shop? Eric Lindsay Music closed down a few months back, so that's another independent music shop in Surrey that's no more...
Merton
Yup that’s where I spent many a teenage day annoying the guys playing bass! It turned into Eric Lindsey and is now a craft beer bar/store thing. Real shame.
