My original DigiTech Whammy has died :) The LED was broken when I got it, but the actual pedal always worked fine, so unfortunately that is no indication of it working or not. It just won't pass signal, in bypass or not, from either the wet, or dry outputs. Now as you may know it's a very expensive piece of kit, and owing to it being discontinued, a replacement will be very expensive. Anyone know anywhere that specializes in this sort of thing and could take a look?

Cheers

Those beasts are getting on for 10 years old now and used some pretty unidentifiable chips - best bet would be to go back to the UK importer and see if they have a dedicated repair centre.

Thanks for the reply. Already been through them, it was going to be so expensive to look at, that even if they couldn't fix it, it'd cost a bomb. Might just put it up on eBay as not working, and see if I get any bites. The sale would go towards the cost of another one!

Yeah been in contact with Dan at the GigRig. That was gonna be my first point of call, but just haven't got the money to spend on the repair yet - especially not knowing how much it will cost. Just thought I'd see if there were any other guys out there. Max at SFX is a good shout, I'll PM him.
