Trois6
Hi all, I decided myself to sell this pretty awesome bass. Because I have A Peavey T-40 and it is enough for my student budget. it's a true deep and round sound (with the flatwound strings on it). Used by Genesis bassist and perfect for all rock styles (post-rock, prog, rock, punk, noise, etc) She is from 1979 exactly and have the module 5 so you have : Volume and Tone for each pickup Pickup selector humbuckin-singlecoil-dephasing selector for each pickup The body is quite damaged, but for a 32 years old bass, it's not a problem (and it's not changing the sound !) It is a rare bass, never seen an other with this translucide red body ... Waiting for 500£ posted form France (any problem for the packaging, I do it often). Here is some pictures : Cheers

philw
Bump for a fabulous bit of UK bass history. If my memory serves me, Rob Green of Status fame learned some of his lutherie skills working at Shergold in the 70s. And I can't help but wonder if Pete Stevens and Ian Waller weren't a bit influenced by Shergold. The general body shape and pickup surrounds have something of Wal about them.
