dab Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 hi all,could anyone help?basicly whilst playing im getting intermittant sound from the bass,ive checked the amp lead,so its not that and is the bass,has anyone had a similar probs in the past and can help,the bass is a washburn,xb400 bantom. thanks Quote

G.[/quote] Yup! almost a certainty. They do sometimes just "go" after working for years. Worth a possible quick-fix if you can see the part of the jack that touches the tip of the jack plug when it's plugged in & bend it over a bit harder towards the middle. If it looks like one of these ..... They're easy to replace but it does involve a little bit of soldering - three wires in your case I think. Quote

Hot to tip Ground to shaft Battery negative to ring. G. Quote
