Macklaud
Hi guys I'm doing some mod's in a old bass and i'm thinking in buying a new neck. My question is where can i find the best quality/price neck's out there? I'm thinking in a maple fretboard at the moment but i might change my mind for a good cause . Sandmann
you´ll find a lot of replacement necks by allparts or mighty might on ebay. i decided to go for a road worn 50ties precision neck when i needed a replacement for my squier jv precision. all the best, sandmann
danny-79
Yeah Allparts / Mighty Might about the best if you want new but failing that, evilbay or keep your eye out on here in the for sale section, theres always some good stuff in there (when your not looking for it ) Good luck ! skankdelvar
New Dr Parts P neck £56 from http://www.dangleberrymusic.co.uk Maybe there's a local Portuguese distributor. Failing that, call dangleberry and see if they'll ship. Edited April 8, 2011 by skankdelvar
Jono Bolton
I'd cast a vote for Mighty Mite, I've got a maple Jazz neck on my Marcus Miller and it's really nice to play. The finish was quite thin and anaemic looking when I got it but it's gotten darker with time and worn in really nicely. A bargain for the £80 I paid for it too. aceuggy
+1 for Mighty Mite. Just had a precision neck delivered and it's very nice. charic
Probably the most important question, what bass is it for?
