FS/FT: Conn alto saxophone - put some hardcore sax in your life.

Recommended Posts

Hope its cool to list this here? Admin? Looking to trade for some bass gear.

Im a first study sax player & own 8 saxes! as well as tons of flutes and clarinets lol Having a clear out before the girlfriend murders me!

First to go is a nice Conn 50M Alto Saxophone "Shooting Stars" model.

Early model 50M from early 1960's, last of the USA built Conn saxes beofre they moved to mexico.

This one won't win a beauty competition, it has a very dark lacquer finish. There are dings, scratches and lacquer loss throughout the instrument - but this just adds to the cool factor for me. It has, however, all new pads and corks and plays well from low Bb to high F without any problems. These have a larger bore than most modern instruments and has good volume & that classic Conn sound.

Included is the original case, a mouthpiece (incl. ligature & cap) and neck strap.

Open to trades - Looking for a nice Sansamp D.I or MRX compressor and the like . . . .what you got? Will sell as well, lets see whats offered first.

Go on then - I probably shouldn't answer this in case it leads elsewher - but hey after a couple or three of glasses of red wine ....
So.

I have a Sansamp DI - but I value it & think it really is the best thing since fretted basses..........

I have an excellent Boss Compressor up for grabs, plus ???? What are you looking for - or what clarinets/flutes/ piccolos have you?

Also have some guitar effects pedals, and a small as new Yamaha mixing desk with digital echo/reverb etc. built in..............

:)
