Jono Bolton
Specifically an Ashdown one. I just think cabs look better with out them, but would I risk damaging the bit it's attached to? I don't know if they're screwed on or not (I'm getting one, but don't yet have one) and it'd be good if I could re-attach it if I go to sell it on. steve-soar
Just cover it with black gaffer tape, no one will notice in the crowd.
Rich
Some of them are stuck on with double sided tape. Take a hair dryer to it, the tape loosens and it's easy to prise off. I did this with the Peavey 410s I used to have... took off the name badge but left the red triangle thingy on. They looked loads better. When you want to stick them back on, just use some fresh double sided tape.
Krysbass
Some of them are held on with screws, as on the Yamaha cab I bought to go with my Superfly head... [attachment=5543:Rig.JPG] Just took the speaker grille off and unbolted the logo then put the grille back on. I agree - it looks better without the logo - especially if you want to stand your cab on its end. Machines
The newer ones are riveted on so it isn't as easy.
