Back onto a forum after many years away

Hi all,
I'm new here but I guess over 3 years ago now, I was a seasoned member of musicianforums (are they still going), with many thousands of posts by the time I lost interest in it.
With a recently rejuvenation of my bass playing career, and subsequent GAS, I felt it right to join a forum, and this UK-centred one seemed ideal.

About me:
I'm currently a student (uni) in London, and have been playing for 7 years.

I've got all sorts of basses (4 at present though i've had more), the highlight of which is my warwick custom shop 5 string corvette $$ seen in my avatar.
Currently playing through an aged Laney 200W combo, but looking to upgrade this soon for a trace or hartke or equivalent.

My new band can be found at www.myspace.com/medusauk (note that isn't me on the recordings) and we will be gigging soon, so check us out, expecially if you're in the London area.

Other than that, nice to meet you all, and I look forward to a very enjoyable time here.
