2008escottp
I have an old peavey milestone 3 which is in desperate need of some new pickups, I'm tempted to get some Fender jazz ones- will these fit? and are they easy to fit? Also what good alternatives are there out there? I play rock music and some slap and i like a punchy sound and a bit like Mark Hoppus from blink I guess. Don't want to spend much if possible too cheers
tommorichards
Pretty much any jazz should fit. I fyou like the mark hoppus, try some seymour duncans in there.
Muzz
I've just fitted a P/J set from Wizard Pickups, and they're fantastic - I'd never even considered soloing a bridge J-Pickup, but with the 84 in there, it's transformed the bass. Excellent pickups.
Paul S
If it were mine I'd put Kent Armstrong pups in it.

Not heard the Jazz equivalent, but would presume they wouldn`t be made to sound radically different. May be worth checking Seymour Duncans website - they have a tone checking page, where you can hear clips of the pickups.
