thedeft1
I've just purchased a Markbass LM2, so looking to pair it with a 15 inch cab at 4 ohms to get some decent levels out of it. I play dub reggae hip hop and funk with lots of lows around 40hz and lower if the soundman will let me. The Ashdown Superfly 115 is 400 watts at 4 ohms and not at all heavy and I'm thinking of purchasing one second hand. This would be a one cab solution - I usually get PA support but I'd still like to know how low this thing can go. There is almost no information on these as the line was discontinued ( I think the Superfly amp wasn't too popular). Can anyone recommend this amp? Frequency response info? Any help is much appreciated. Cheers, James
MythSte
Try Speaking to MB1, He knows his Ashdown gear very well
xgsjx
I'd go with an 8Ω cab. The only thing a 4Ω cab will do with your LMII is restrict you from adding any more cabs & won't give you any noticeable difference in volume.
