See the link below for a prototype of the new solid body Kala Bass Uke's.

I think it looks great! But, the lack of a hardcase would worry me re: international shipping.

I am assuming that there is a language barrier concerning the seller's write up.

It looks great apart from the knobs. Why bother doing lovely things with wood and then put 20p knobs on it?

Your right, you can get them from Maplins for 50p lol! Look lovely but change those damn strings so it looks tasteful

IMHO The solid body takes away at least 50% of the attraction of the U-bass by removing all accoustic properties.

All you're left with is a re-designed (and massively over-priced) Ashbory.
